What the SG Arrival Card is
The SG Arrival Card is the electronic Singapore entry card that replaced the white paper slip cabin crew used to hand out before landing at Changi. Every visitor submits one, whether they arrive by air, by sea, or across the Causeway from Malaysia.
It carries two things. First, your travel details: passport, flight or vessel, arrival date and where you are staying in Singapore. Second, a short health declaration. Both go in on the same form, which is why the SG card is sometimes described as an arrival card with a health declaration attached.
Everything on it is tied to your passport, so the details have to match your travel documents exactly. A passport number with one character wrong, or an arrival date that does not match your booking, is the most common reason a traveller is held up at the Singapore immigration counter.
Most travellers simply call it the SG card. You will also see it as SGAC, Singapore arrival card, Singapore entry card, Singapore arrival form, Singapore entry form and Singapore landing card. Those are all the same document, and whichever of those names brought you here, this is where you complete it.
Completing your Singapore arrival card online is the only route now. The paper slip is gone, the SGAC replaced it outright, and there is nothing to fill in on the plane or collect on landing.
